Rte 202 south of Jacksonville, FL - which you will take if you're going south on 95 and then over to the coast, down to St Augustine for example.
This bridge, specifically: https://www.google.com/maps/place/3...m4!3m3!8m2!3d30.257281!4d-81.426816?entry=ttu

I forgot about this until today.
Heading east, if you take this route, either slow down (better) or speed up past the speed limit - which was either 50 or 55.
This &*^%^$ bridge has expansion joints that cause chucking, and cruise set at speed limit will set up a resonance feedback that about bounces you off the road.
Us and a delivery truck had the same problem.
I about crapped my pants and the front end nearly came off the ground.
If this happens, don't panic, hopefully you brought a towel, ease off the gas and keep 'er as straight as you can, it'll smooth out.
Worst chucking I've ever had and hope to never experience again!

I did a thorough inspection of the Anderson hitch & kingpin coupler after we arrived, all good, thankfully.

Glad you made it in one piece. We had a similar experience going around Harrisburg, PA last fall. Not fun. I replaced my shocks on the TV, which helped when we crossed a bridge in ME that also had expansion joints on our last trip.

Good point, good to keep in mind over any bridge where the rhythm of joins hits in the 1-2 seconds range, it might get you bouncing!

Sounds like you needed to go to the pay window and pick up that belt buckle. I'm sure you went the FULL 8 seconds on that ride!!

Remember that different trucks and trailers have different wheelbases, so a particular speed may cause a problem with my truck and trailer but not yours. As was mentioned above, just change your speed some if you find something that is uncomfortable. The big unknown is that "some" I mentioned. Sometimes a few mph will do it. Other times you may need a lot more. Don't worry about the people behind you. It isn't their stuff that is being thrown around.

You are 100% correct. We live in in JAX and I no longer go eastbound on JTB (202) when we head to camp at North Beach campground which is south of Ponte Vedra.
Speed limit happens to be 65 and the harmonic resonance is extreme...even in my truck when I am not towing!

That's our exact destination, our favorite CG so far, awesome place.
Pro tip, get a back-in site on that last line, the northern-most line of sites. If you've never wandered into "the back 40", they are prepped for even more sites eventually. It's like a park back there, awesome for an evening stroll with the dogs.

Come to think of it, we might have chatted briefly in real life, May last year. It was our last night there, so we didn't talk long, but it was another 310 Solitude from the local area.
