Does anyone know the location of this valve. It's not under the bathroom sink. We're getting a sewer smell in the heat of the day.

Thanks in advance.

Dont know about that valve but I have had sewer smell come in if I have any roof vent open, coming from my black water vent pipe on the roof. Happy Camping!

Maybe I should get a rotating sewer vent to help move the smell downwind.

Thanks for the response.

AAV isn’t for the toilet. Sinks and showers only.

That said, gray tank odor through a faulty AAV is often mistaken for sewage.

Hmmmm. Another good thought. Next time I smell it, I'll put my head under the kitchen sink.

Thanks JK.

Have you placed your sewer hose in a position that'll Make a "P" trap, due to the sewer hose open to the sewer system, the smell could be from that

Thanks for all the comments. We've got the problem solved...believe it or not, it was the campground and leaving the vents open. I was in Casa Grande AZ and evidently we had a very strong "farm" smell when the humidity was present. Not sure if the RV park sat on an old feed lot or not, but that's what it smelled like. Either that or their sewer system was venting to the open air.

All is good...Momma is happy again.
