Add compass connect after the fact?

Purchased a 2021 Imagine late last year and see that they are now adding the Compass Connect as standard. Anyone know if the system can be added after the fact?

My first thought is that it would be a fairly ambitious project. If you went with the 8 circuit controller you would have to wire 8 switching circuits. If you only wanted to use it for switches that are all located on the control panel, then doable. Mount the control board somewhere, pull a bundle of wires from the board to the control panel, and require all the switches that you want to remote control.

I sure wish mine never had it. They ruined a great storage place near the entrance

Plus as has been said it would be very difficult project as well as costly I am sure

It will run your lights, slides, and awning, but does not monitor tanks or turn your pump on and off.

You had me wondering so I went out and powered the trailer up
I can switch water pump off and on with app
Can’t determine if tanks show level because they are empty and showing such

Nice! I even learned something today. My Compass Connect on my Reflection does not do that.

Seeing how it’s installed I’d agree, fairly complex install after the fact. I was hoping the brain was a part of the panel itself.

Too bad, this half year updating they do is a little frustrating.

I enjoy using the app to control these components. Helps when setting up the campsite or bring the awning in when windy etc. so far it’s worked out well on our 2021 imagine 2800bh

It will run your lights, slides, and awning, but does not monitor tanks or turn your pump on and off.

In my new 2021 2250RK, it does monitor my tanks and does allow me to turn on my water pump.

Yep, we established that a couple posts back.

The Compass Connect in my Reflection does not do that.

So it does not add any functions other than letting you check your tanks and turn on the water pump while you are sitting on the crapper.
Glad I don't have that feature. I hate to be distracted.
