Adding DVR and sound bar to television

I currently own an Imagine XLS 22MLE. We are looking to get something a little larger with a separate bedroom area. Yesterday I went to the dealer to look at a 2024 Imagine XLS 24LDE. This unit did not have DVR/Stereo; indoor or outdoor speakers. The salesman informed me that none of the new units have the DVR/Stereo/Speakers. He mentioned that some of the GD owners are putting in their own DVR and sound bar. Wondering if anyone out there has done this. How you mounted the system. If you have a picture that would be great too! Any input greatly appreciated!

What a coincidence...we had a 2022 22MLE and then they released the 2023 23LDE and we upgraded. MLE bathroom was very small and we didn't like walking in at the foot of the bed. We thought it was going to be fine but once the LDE came out, we just couldn't help ourselves.

Anyway, ours did not come with a DVD or anything either. I bought the unit below and used micro tape to mount it on the wall behind the TV (apparently not available any longer but perhaps looks for a similar one if you like the idea). It's out of sight, it can be controlled with the remote if you pull the TV out a bit so that you can have a somewhat direct line of sight to the player, and it has worked well so far. Instead of a soundbar we decided to go with the wireless earbuds because when running the A/C the volume has to be turned up so loud it drove us nuts. And this allows us to have the volume set to each of our preferences.
