Adding hydraulic fluid

The hydraulic cylinder that moves the 2 big slides failed and has been replaced. I need to add hydraulic fluid to replace what was lost during repairs. Owner's manual says to retract everything before checking/adding fluid. Does "everything" include the landing gear?

Yes, so you get a true reading of the fluid level in the tank
