From what I have learned, your batteries can help start your AC if you choose to run a 2500 watt generator, and then to the extent you exceed the generator capacity, they can supplement your power needs, say to run the TV or stereo if you have a hybrid inverter, like the Victron Multiplus II. I am having that type of system installed in my unit with 600 watts of solar. The cost is about $5K. I'm sure I could do it myself, but I have a lot on my plate. BTW, Bish's wants $6.8K for a similar install.
Hello all,
I am a newbie... but.. I can help right off the bat I hope.
I just purchased a 2025 transcend one rbl151. I bought a place that had electric..sewer water installed.
Long story short, what was installed electrically has been flawless. There's an external gfi outlet and a 50 amp.
I hooked up the camco adapters I purchased, but the bathroom faulted with orange light.
The bad news ..no idea why yet as I was thinking the solar two battery package was gtg.
Luckily.. maybe.. I have a vw and enjoyed the some with a solar charging generator, a roku TV, an injured puppy buddy and loving it off grid.. cept this year and cheated with a Sat system.
So last ditch effort... I hooked the generator to the home power system, all green lights there, and then the leap of faith.
No gfi faults everything runs.
Watch out at the dealers when they showcase your unit on ' shore power'
Run everything with Battery's you purchased so you know.
I've worked on some 66 mustangs ( older cats) so that helped. Electric issues take a huge second look, and don't need a dive right in. Research- diligence...
but for some reason.. sounds like there's break down in communication between parts that are super sensitive with out a pure sinewave and 3000 ways continuous. My solar is charged feom the same plug that wasn't working with the 50 to 30 or the 12 to 30 adapter.
I'm hopeful to enjoy seeing the Irish win tomorrow night.
SORRY FOR LONG POST! and hello!!!
Ps my 30 and 50 watt tools arrive in 8 days
