I have a 2021 Momentum 31G. The black tank sensor is showing 2/3 full after emptying the tank. I Have treated the tank and maintained it each time. How can I check that the tank is really empty when dumping?

On some models you can simply look down the toilet with a flashlight. On others its just via the sound when pouring water lets say.
It sounds like it might just be a dirty sensor. Many of us use the Geo Method. check out this article and recipe. Its what we use. https://kleentank.com/the-geo-method/
Some had success cleaning their sensor by adding 5-10 gallons of water and 2 bags of ice cubs and going for a ride.

This topic has been discussed on the forum too many times to be counted. The tank sensors are notorious for being unreliable due to "stuff" sticking to them with use. As Ynot4me2 suggested, search the forum and the internet for "geo method" for cleaning the tanks and sensors. I'm not an advocate of the ice approach personally, especially in warm weather, as the ice tends to melt before doing much. Letting the black tank fill all the way before dumping and putting in a few gallons of clean water after dumping and flushing each time is the best way to keep the sensors clean in the long run.

I see this is your first post - welcome to the forum! I recommend that you create a signature block with your RV and tow vehicle information (see mine below). That way you won't have to repeat that information whenever you post or ask a question. You can create a signature by going to:

Forum Actions (on menu bar) -> Edit Profile -> Edit Signature (under My Settings on the left)
