Hi, I have a 2022 310GK Solitude and brought it in to our dealership just to get it checked out. I had them check out the wheel bearings and a few other minor items. Today I was informed the seals on all 4 tires were leaking and all the brake drums were full with grease but all the bearings looked good.
My question is is this normal or just a thing. I had the wheels checked last year and all was good and they didn't have to do anything to them.
Thanks

It does happen, but usually due to service errors. If it was checked out last year and they were good, it's very likely the dealer screwed up. Hopefully he'll be good about owning up to his error. He may have tried to use the EZ-Lube. That sometimes turns out badly, and the result is grease all over the drums. Might nail him down as far as his procedure last visit.

Or they actually didn't do what they said they did last year...I had greasy brakes from the factory on my '21. The seals were not properly seated and the hubs were all full of grease. GD/Dexter were good about it and sent me all the parts to do the repair myself.

If the rv has the EazyLube setup one cause of the bad seals is useing a battery or air powered grease gun instead of a hand pump style. Just too much pressure.
I only use a hand squeeze style and in 14 years of having the EzyLube never a problem. I do break em down every now and then & inspect/pack.

so I found out today that I did have the bearings checked in 2022 and they stated no problems. I brought it in last year after our trip to Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, South Dakota and back to Minnesota. I told the service manager I'd like to have the bearings checked and he talked me out of it. He said to do it at 5,000 or so miles. I told him how many miles we put on and said no need. Today another service manager said have them check every year. Now who to believe.
My bad I guess.

I check my bearings every year. Some wait two years, some less, really can depend on the mileage you put on.

I think your dealer is taking you for a ride. If all four of the drums are full of grease, it is pretty cheap to buy new drums, that will include everything and already greased. If you do not want to do it, any trailer repair place can do it, or find a mobile repair person.

I am surprised the all four of the tires are leaking, highly unusual. I would take the tires to a tire shop and see what they say. If the tires are bad, and can not be patched, a tire store (any can carry or order trailer tires), will be a lot cheaper.

Find a new dealer. Sounds like they don’t have a clue.
