I'm setting up a battery monitor. It wants the AH rating on my two 6v batteries. The batteries are labeled "75 amp rating, 120 minutes." Do I indicate 150ah or 240ah? Im confused.

Usually its the 20 hour rating. What brand and model 6V battery's do you have? Look up the AH rating on the manufacturer web page. Also when setting up your monitor, be sure the batterys are fully charged.

With two 6v batteries you will need to connect them in series to create 12v. In so doing the amp rating is not multiplied by 2, rather the amp rating you should use is the rating for one battery.

Thanks BB&Lab. I realize just using the rating for ones 6v. My question was or is rated 75 amp for 120 minutes. Would that rating indicate 150 amp for 60 min, half the time?
