Another Kantleak problem

I took the cartridge out of a failed valve and it took a hard pull with channel locks to get it apart. I did not even try to put it back together went straight to the trash. I would replace the entire valve.

Mine died yesterday. Replaced core and didn't help. The core I pulled out was missing a rubber seat so now I'm wondering where it went cuz the new one didn't work either (maybe jammed somewhere.)

I have a message in to GD for valve replacement.

P.S. I NEVER turned it while system was pressurized (not even with pump on) and always used a pressure regulator. Seems too fragile. I may go old school and just eliminate it if next one fails also.

Real pain aren't they! I took a bad one apart had no idea how to put it back together and didn't care straight to the trash.

I’m very sorry to hear that some customers have been having issues with our RV water panel. We stand behind our product 100% and would be happy to work with any end user, to solve their individual issues. Many of these issues have nothing to do with a faulty water panel, but we can help troubleshoot and isolate the problem. Typically, if needed, a main valve rebuild can be done in less than 10 Minutes with minimal mechanical expertise, and only a customer supplied Phillips head screwdriver (as the main 4-function valve spindle/seals were designed specifically to be accessible from the front of the panel). Step by step Instructions are included in the kit and a copy is attached to this post for your evaluation.

We look forward to working with you, and can be contacted at 800-476-9876

Sincerely,

Thank you for recognizing some of us are having problems. If we need pressure regulators please tell us. If we need to have the pressure relieved before switching --tell us. We are all use to routines associated with our RV's but we need to know before problems are created.
I will be calling Monday to request a replacement cartridge. Who should we ask to speak to?

Thank you
