Antifreeze

Putting some antifreeze in the bottom of the holding tanks is pretty common for those of us living/storing in the north. This is because the tanks cannot be 100% drained and an ice lens is possible. No need to waste the tank treatment. If your holding tanks have an odor problem, it would be recommended to sterilize them before storage. There are products retailed just for this, but good ole Pinesol will do a better job for less money.

Thank you. We are going to be living in it. I was concerned that the antifreeze would interfere with the action of the Happy Camer or that the two things might cause a bad reaction. First overwinter.

Oh, if you will be using full time you may not need any antifreeze. What model is your camper? This will help us guide you more.

Artic/4 seasons package? There will be a decal next to entry door if so. If you do, your TT will have underbelly material and tanks are warned with furnace operation.
