Any car guys here?

Oh heck, I should join in the discussion. I have a couple of '67 mustangs that I work on from time to time. They've been in my family since the late 70's early 80's & are still projects, but are lots of fun. Here's the GT ..

Indeed! It's pretty astounding what you can get out of "newer" cars these days - even on pump gas. I got the privilege of drag racing my friend's car last summer, which I'm pretty sure is the fastest car I've been in. It was an absolute hoot ..

(and no, it wasn't a corvette)

If not, too bad, those motors were lots of fun.

Along with the blue oval 302s, that little first gen Camaro Z/28 302 (especially the 69 year with 4 bolt mains) was pretty awesome too. In fact after owning my very rare 67 RS Z/28 for nearly 48 years (bought it graduation day from HS in 74) I sold it to my Nephew a few weeks ago. He is a passionate car guy and after buying my brothers 70 1/2 RS Z/28 a couple years ago, made it clear that he wanted my Z to go along with my brothers.

He is going to do some work to it sat for a few years w/o starting/driving and guess who gets to drive it in the spring !:) Keeping the car in the family will have it's benefits.

I’m about done with rebuilding my 1981 El Camino SS with 17,000 original miles. I installed a new BluePrint 383” 435 hp engine, built TH350 transmission, Quick Performance 9” differential with a 3.70 gear locker, QA1 coilovers with tubular A arms, and Wilwood 6 piston front & 4 piston rear disc brakes.3C83151F-91F4-4189-B134-DC789CD45543.jpeg
