Hi Everyone,
This is only my second post since I've joined, and this is my first RV. I'm living in it and learning as I go.

Right now I've got an issue with the fridge, Furion 12v, 8 cu ft / the water heater / and something else I haven't figured out that's intermittently running.

The fridge::
I'm running on electricity. A couple weeks ago the power went out briefly and tripped the ac breaker. Later that day I accidentally overloaded the receptical near the kitchen sink, tripped at least the ac breaker and I think another, I don't remember exactly right now. Later that evening I realized that the fridge was cool, not cold, and the freezer was cold but not freezing, and I don't know if it was due to the power going out or me overloading that receptical. Fortunately I have another building on the property with a fridge so didn't lose anything. This morning the same thing happened, power went off briefly and tripped the ac breaker - except I didn't realize that for a couple hours because I was working in that other building, and when I came home - a few feet away from that other building :) I found it was hot in here. I didn't realize the fridge wasn't cooling until this evening and the frozen veg wasn't frozen. When this happened the first time I researched online and find Furion designed it very stupidly and there's a fuse in the back that's nearly impossible to find replacements for, and would definitely be impossible for me to get to myself anyway because of the weight of the fridge.

The water heater::
I bought this RV a month ago and haven't been able to get the water heater to work. Been showering by heating water :/
Anyway, I did think I resolved it by pushing the reset button, but nope, it's still not getting hot. Running on electricity. I haven't tried using propaine yet because the day I brought it home the LP sensor somehow stopped working on the drive home and was alarming, so it's been disconnected, the dealer sent me a new one, but I haven't had/made time to install it.

The something else I haven't figured out yet::
This evening, after I turned on the water heater, at some piont something sounds as if it's running for a split second, every few seconds. I thoght maybe it was the water pump, or the heater, but it's still happening even after I turned off both of them, and I can't hear it from outside, even when I press my ear to the side. The only things running is the ac on auto, and a dehumidifier. I live in TX, the weather here sucks, sorry to all the Texans out there, I've been here since 2005 and I don't do well in humidity.

I think my posts won't be so long in the future, hopefully :) just trying to figure things out. I LOVE this RV tho!

Ugh, I just figure out that it's the fridge that's making that running sound. I'm guessing that might mean that it's failing ? I'm glad I bought an extended warranty. Still, this bites!

I'm still open to suggestions!

Sounds like you have a low battery to me.

Is your battery disconnect switch turned on?

If it is, the electric spike may have popped the converter fuses.

The intermittent sounds from the fridge may be due to not enough 12 volt to keep it running, but enough to start it, then fault out.

I've been RV'ing 5 seasons and making fewer mistakes, thankfully. I agree with hunter70 to move battery disconnect switch. RV refrigerators are mediocre. Don't OVER pack it & don't block vents. Open door briefly. Good way to ascertain its temperature is to take temperature of glass of water using digital thermometer. Ensure, water pump is OFF. Regarding Water Heater issues: suggest asking fellow camper to diagnose behavior. Water heater will generate sound when first turned on - it takes about 6 minutes for warm water using electricity (quicker with LPG), once hot I turn water heater LPG off for savings.
