Retracting my awning this evening and heard two screws hit the ground while it was coming in. The awning did come fully in no issues. Any idea where these come from on the awning?
those look like the mounting screws. If the awning is still firmly attached to your coach they were probably ones that were dropped during installation and found a crevice to hide in.
I can not open the pics on my phone, but I just replaced the motor for my awningwet which failed at camp.
There were two machine screws and a couple wood screws that went through holes in the motor then into the plastic back cover.
Pop of the front half of the plastic cover and you might see.
There’s a good YouTube video showing this.

Glad you found them on the ground and NOT in your tires!
I too agree with them being dropped during assembly. You could extend your awning and look for missing fasteners.
I had buddies that worked the line at Oldsmobile and when they had to clean up, all those loose nuts and bolts ended up under the back seat of whichever car was in front of them!
Rolled out the awning this morning and inspected everything. I don't see any missing hardware. All fasteners that I could see were square bit. Few of those were loose. I am wondering if there are even part of the awning. This feel secure and it works well. Couldn't take apart the motor plastic cover to see if it was anything in there (well didn't want to break it as it wasn't obvious how it comes apart - probably a few plastic tabs).
