I am new to this Forum and this will be my first post so bare with me, I am new to all this. I have a 2023 Ram 2500, Had A B&W Patriot 18K sliding hitch installed. Bought a 2023 GD Reflection 150 series 270BN. When I picked it up from the dealer they thought the Trailer sat a little high in the front. After getting it home I dropped it down 1 set of holes, 2nd time I took it out I tried the slider and when turning the bottom of the Curt turning point took the plastic off the top of the tailgate. My question is can I use the wedge that comes with the Curt, or do I have to order a special one, called Curt and B&W hitches and neither were much help. Leaving for a trip to Florida in 3 weeks and am in a bit of a rush. Sorry for the long post. Thanks in advance. Dave

Not sure what I am missing here....you bought a sliding hitch, but you are still using the Turning Point feature? Is that what you are asking?

If you keep the Turning Point locked out with the 2 bolts, you use your sliding hitch and no wedge. If you remove the bolts, then yes, you need to use the wedge.

B&W recommends using the Custom Wedge for B&W Fifth Wheels # SWW-06.

On edit....I reread your question. Yes, you can use the Turning Point feature and not move your hitch.
