I have a 2024GMC 1500 Denali Ultimate 6.2 and my RV backup camera signal is not responding (no signal). i recently ordered a 7 way Vehicle Power Adapter to 7 blade connector cable, compatible with Furroin RV Observation Camera Replaces F2BC004XXBX.

Any suggestions If this is compatible? Thanks Jerry and Veronica

Sorry forgot to mention, I have a GD IMAGINE 2026

Not sure if this applies to your setup, but my backup / observation camera (Haloview BT7) is wired to the exterior RV lights as was the original Furrion camera. If yours is wired the same, did you turn on your tow vehicle lights (parking lights at a minimum) while the truck was connected to the trailer?

Also, the camera likely requires a separate monitor. I know mine does - it does not work with the infotainment screen in my Ford.

I have a F250 on order and one option was a camera for a trailer. It will integrate with all the other cameras in my truck. No extra monitor needed. BTW, the kit also has TPMS and blind spot radar for the trailer. This one might work with your truck.

Furrion cameras are low quality. The lens will fade from the suns UV light in a few years. You are already suffering malfunctions. Just say no to furrion junk.

If your lights are set to auto, change them to the ON position.
If this doesn’t resolve your issue, search here and the other GD website for an adapter which connects at the 7-way.
Some vehicles, and I think it was GMC, have an issue which is resolved with an adapter.
Look at Furrion Back Up Camera problems. too.

Your 2024 GMC is the problem. The camera is powered by the clearance lights in your trailer. Unfortunately, GM decided it would be a good idea to power the trailer lights with a PWM (pulse width modulated) signal - essentially a square wave as opposed to straight 12VDC. If you are at all familiar with electricity, there is a fairly easy way to resolve this issue without adding a clumsy adaptor that will eventually cause you additional problems when the contacts begin to corrode. Here is how I did it on my Reflection 303RLS (touring with a 2025 Chevy 2500).
