Got our new Solitude 375RE. Only thing I didn't like about the Solitudes is there is no outside TV. I need one for football season. ;) Bought a Mor-Ryde TV mount for basement. Just wanted to share if people are interested in putting a TV outside there Grand Design. TV in picture is 40" bracket holds 19"-40" Has locking pins for when it's out for viewing and when not being used you simply slide it in and back in up into cargo bay to get it out of the way for more storage during traveling or not used.

Hello Teaman,
I mounted the bracket with extensions to the Aluminum beams on ceiling of the cargo bay. When you are ready to watch TV you pull the locking pin to slide the TV outside, (or you can leave it inside the bay area if you want depends on your storage). You then pull the other pin to drop the TV down for viewing. The TV can swivel as well, it’s a nice bracket, very happy with it. I can get pictures of it this weekend when camping if you like.

We put ours in a year or so ago and love it!! I love sitting outside in the morning with my coffee and watch the news. I also put cover on it in case anything shifted in transit to help to protect it

Picture of TV mount in basement.

Sorry it's taken some time was out camping here is picture of mounting.

I suspect you, just like I, have not suds cried to that service yet. I believe you can only view pictures if you pay the $12 subscription fee.

I too am consider the ceiling mount tv. Is there a reason you chose to use strapping to mount instead of mounting directly to ceiling? I am considering the ceiling mount and /or the side mount from mor/ryde

The ceiling was to high and needed spacing with the bracket or it wouldn't slide out.

Greetings Allan, would you have plans and/or pics of your installation, we were parked next to you at the rally, and did not realize you had the install.

Here is our Morride installation. I installed it on the left side of the basement as I wanted to keep it under the awning and closer to antenna and power connections.

Hey Paul and Bev!!!
Hope you two are doing great!! We so enjoyed being neighbors at the rally!!
I just now saw your post. We have been camping this long weekend and I wasn't checking the forum. We won't be back out for two more weeks but I will be glad to get pictures then and post them to you. The garage is so full now we only unload to get to the TV when we camp!

I understand. I just purchased a Morryde tv40010 top slide-out and want to see how installed it. Drive safely, Bev says Hi.

Nice & clean installations. We just put a deposit down on a 2800BH travel trailer and the sales person couldn't tell us where the outside tv coax connector was. Just curious if one of the 3 I saw on the universal docking station was for an outside tv the I would need to run the cable from the docking station to the other side of the pass thru compartment.

Nice install. I wish the basement on our 337RLS had a wall on the left as yours does - ours is wide open. I gotta say that I would be as paranoid as **** having the TV's screen facing the junk in our basement while travelling and maybe bouncing around.

Thanks to the rest of you for sharing your TV mounting solutions.

Tom
