Incredible! Gotta guess that if the Amish workers who did yours did it to a few others.
My first thoughts too. Bearded kid, gripping a pipe in his teeth, wearing a pork pie hat with a Milwaukie blasting away,, then heading to the next unit on the assembly line.

Have you now repaired the mistake?
No, waiting for another part, a new circuit board for the fuel pump controller to arrive and they can fix both at the same visit.
With the layoffs at the dealer it's all moving slowly.

But I'll say this, our new 398M is lightyears better than our past 398M.
Wimpy, useless garage Tie down rings and a useless Yamaha powered house generator are our only real complaints that we worked around.

That's worse than how they caulk the inside of the threshold rather than the outside as the manual states. The water came out under the threshold down the shower pan and onto the floor. It took about 5 minutes for me to look at the manual and figure out what the dipsticks did wrong at the factory. RVing is a lesson in self-reliance.

Once mold starts where you can't get to it to clean,, it keeps on keeping on.
