Hello,
The battery on my rv recently died and I had to jump the rv generator with my truck. At first a friend that was helping accidently attached the pos+ to the neg- and the neg- to the pos+ on the rv battery while the other end was connected to my truck correctly. Nothing seemed to happen. Once we connected everything correctly the generator fired right up. About 5-10 minutes after we removed the jumper cable, the generator turned off and the battery was dead. I took the battery in and it was determined the battery had a bad cell. I bought and installed a new battery. The compass connect app connected and the generator fired right up. About 4:00am I used the compass control app on my phone to turn the generator off. At 8:00 am I tried to restart the generator with the app but the app would no longer connect to the rv (shows offline). Then I noticed the outside hydraulic jack panel would not turn on (like maybe the battery was dead). But the generator fired right up when I started it manually, obviously the battery wasn't dead. Now, three weeks later, I have tried everything I've read on this site to get the app to connect but nothing works. I have had the rv plugged in to shore power at my house for the last 3 weeks. The one touch panel in the rv shows the battery to be at full power. Yesterday after unplugging the rv, the outside panel for the hydraulic jacks wouldn't power on again but I was able to start the generator manually again. One other strange thing, using the one touch pad in the rv, I am unable to turn the a/c fans to auto. Two of the three fans are set on Low. When I try to switch them to auto they switch to high. It doesn't matter if the a/c is on or off. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you
