Hmm, I wonder how many batteries from the Mid and late 1900s are still in use today......kind of settles the debate huh!
What? I thought everything on the internet was fact? LOLThis is why you can't trust everything you read on the internet.

The Concrete Truth About Batteries Stored on Concrete
Have you heard the one about batteries discharging when stored on concrete? Apparently, some people have taken to storing 12V batteries—the kind used in electric wheel chairs and emergency lighting systems—on wooden shelves to maximize their life expectancy. Is there a spark of truth to this or...www.mcgill.ca
Please forgive me if this is too basic for you. But, the battery charge status lights are only indicating voltage. When you're moving the slides, you are taking current from the battery so the voltage (pressure) drops. As soon as you stop moving the slides, the battery voltage will recover if the batteries are healthy, and you should see "good" or "charged" again. If this is what you're observing, it's perfectly normal.I have a newish 12V AGM battery. I keep the battery on a maintenance charger in the garage between all trips (dismounted from the trailer). On recent trips the battery readout on the control panel goes to “low” when operating the slides. It starts showing fully charged, then drops slowly, and the trailer is connected to shore power at the time. I took it to Advanced Auto and had them put it on their tester, which showed the battery if okay.
Comments (constructive, please) appreciated.
To be fair, it is a belief that still holds with a lot of people.Hmmm.... first post, just joined today....
