I added a shelf to the headboard wall to be able to hold our CPAP units as the side shelves are just too small. It also required that I reduce the height of the pleather headboard by 7". Here's a couple of photos for those interested.

Looks Great. How did you make it? And how did you install? Thanks

It was cut from a piece of 1x8x60". I tried to shape it to the decorative piece on the ceiling as we only need the depth on the ends. Mounted to the wall with a couple of wrought iron 6x6" brackets from Home Depot using hollow door anchors.

That looks great Dave! I hope you strap those CPAPS down when you go to sleep. I could just envision rolling over and pulling one down on top of my noggin when I was in deep sleep. Ouch.

Being a CPAP user for over 5 years now, can't imagine having to sleep without it, can't sleep if I don't have it on. The bedroom layout in the 337 is exactly the reason I bought the 303RLS due to it having nightstands on both sides of the bed. Never thought about putting up a shelf, but Dave, you did an outstanding job there. Looks fantastic. Now, do I want to trade my 303 for a 337, NAW!!!!!! :p Love my 303RLS:cool:

Dave - how does the "headboard" come off the wall? I can get my fingers behind it but I'm hesitant to pull too much - don't want to pop something I shouldn't! My wife just got a CPAP and I am looking at installing a shelf somewhat like yours.

Hi Dave,

Shelf looks really good and color appears to match the brown trim. What stain did you use?

My wife's new CPAP is small enough that it's a perfect fit on top of a yoga brick (hard, closed-cell foam) on the raised part of the floor of the slide below the bedside shelf in our 337.
