Beer on Saturday?

The question is, “ Can I have a beer in the early afternoon on a weekday?” I know it’s OK on the weekend especially if there is football. But since I’m retired and pretty much everyday is like a Saturday. So…. If I’m up on the roof in the hot Florida sun touching up the caulking along the edge where the roof membrane is tucked into the edge trim and the original caulking is looking a bit dried out and checked. And. I finish up, say around 2 PM. And. It’s not a Saturday and no football. Can a Christian guy have a cold one? Opinions?

And yes, I’m using the approved and ultra expensive Alpha all purpose (not self leveling) caulk. My bead is not as perfect as the factory job but, well, no one will ever see it but me.

Drink when it's time for you. When I work night shift, I usually come home around 6 - 7 am and have a beer before I goto bed, no shame.

Retired. Every day is Sunday. Only rule. Once you tip, don’t use an ignition key. Get a call. Can you come over? Nope.

A common occurance with night shift workers. I've done the same from time to time.

One night shift I was on and I was troubleshooting an electrical problem on a piece of machinery. The repair was going to cross shift change and the operator went to leave and said, "Well, I'm going home and HAVE to have a beer!. I said you HAVE to? He replied, "Yup....I'm out of whiskey"....lol

To the OP, nothing wrong with a beer or two in the afternoon...if you have a bunch and you're passed out by dinnertime it could be considered bad form.

Retired? Every day is Saturday. Have a beverage whenever you feel like it.
I've been told my RV has a TPO roof and any TPO sealant will work. Other places on here I've read that it's an Alpha roof and only Alpha sealant will work.
Any wisdom on this?

Just dont drink it on the roof - and risk a potential skydive.

I can remember when I was in the service they used to allow us to have a beer with lunch... dont even get me started with early morning NCO calls that lasted the rest of the day... even the post chaplin would stop by and have a beer!

Luckily the Provost Marshal's (MPs) NCOs participted in NCO calls too! ;)

To be sure which you have, you'd need to contact Grand Design with your VIN. I have read where you can use Dicore sealant if Alpha isn't around.
