Currently have a Pullrite 16K Sliding Hitch. Looking to replace it with something much lighter so it’s easier to take in and out. Pulling a Reflection 303 and don’t believe I really need a slider hitch in my 2024 GMC 2500HD with the 6’-8” box and factory mounting pucks.
Anybody have any real life experience with lighter hitch’s using this vehicle/trailer combination?

I also have a short bed and use the Anderson Ultimate Hitch. It is only 35lbs, easy to install/remove and will work with your factory mounting system. I have had this for 6 years now with no issues. My 5th wheel is slightly larger and heavier than yours. Although I am unable to achieve a 90 degree turn, more like 85 degree, I have not had the need to do so. This is a very simple set up, place over ball, insert pin and torque three bolts to 60lbs. Also, it does not require any lubrication.
