Finally got around to performing the mod I have been waiting for, adding a light switch to the bedroom to turn those damn cap lights off if we forget. On the Momentum 25G (series) and any of the Imagine series I have seen, the cap LED switch is in the front storage compartment. Its very easy to accidently leave the cap lights on all night and annoy the neighbors.
So what we needed to do is replace the existing ON/OFF light switch in the storage compartment with an ON/ON switch. Thankfully JR Products makes a direct replacement, you just swap out the switch and leave the faceplate and back plate. The model I used is JR Products 13095 Black SPDT On/On Switch.
Then I needed a second light switch in the bedroom, so I ordered the following:
1 x JR Products 13095 Black SPDT On/On Switch1 x JR Products 12305 Black Single Switch Base and Face Plate
Then we needed to run a three conductor cable (I used a four conductor so I had a ground for use later to add an LED to the switch), in this case I simply picked up some 4 conductor trailer wiring cable. Cheap and easy to fish in the RV.

Using the above wiring template and some crimp female spade connectors, it was a breeze to wire it all up and test.
Next item I will add to it is a LED drilled into the faceplate so I know from the bedroom if the Cap lights are on or not.
Cheers
Tim
