Good Day
I am getting a Swagman E-spec receiver mounted carrier ( https://www.etrailer.com/Hitch-Bike-Racks/Swagman/S94FR.html ) and looking for a good waterproof cover to keep the bikes out of the elements. Looking for something durable that not going to come apart and is waterproof. Amazon has the carrier for $399 BTW.

Example
Swagman Has a large one made of D410 per etrailer https://www.etrailer.com/Bike-Accessories/Swagman/S24FR.html Amazon has the cover for $107

Are there others that I should consider?

We use one of these. It is a bag more than a cover. There are a few sizes. To cover out bikes with room to spare we got the dual bike cover. It is more than enough to cover the bikes but we have to rotate the handle bars 90 degrees.

We learned the hard way that an open bottom cover just lets dirt and grit all over the bikes. Now we use that cover for when the bikes are off the rack and chained to something overnight.

We use the same Swagman E-Bike rack. We also use the Formosa dual bike cover. Both have served us very well since 2021. We do also use a cargo net to help keep the bike cover from moving around. Very happy with both products protecting the Aventon 500 bikes.

Team Obsidian here as well with two Ebikes. I run a bungee cord around it to keep it tight. Has worked great for 3 seasons.

We also use the Team Obsidian cover and are very happy with it but want to add a cargo net to minimize movement of the cover during travel. What size cargo net works best?

We use a 5'X5' Cargo net off Amazon for our two E-bike cover. The one we purchased back in 2021 is no longer available. I would think any in that size range would work out. It goes without saying that the netting will test your every last nerve and your sanity when it comes time to unfold it if you leave the hooks attached. Once this net becomes unusable, I think i will change to just using long bungy cords to stretch around the cover to secure it in multiple locations.
