We’ve decided to sell our 2010 GD imagine xls 22MLE. In very good condition.
What’s the best way to sell it, suspect dealer will lowball?
Any info on actual fair value? Sorry if this is a repeat ?

You must have the year wrong. I think 2019 might have been the first year for that model.

Most of the dealers will use the NADA values on the JD power web site and pay you wholesale price for it. I think you'll be surprised on how low that is and just how low average low retail and average high retail are. There are also a couple of places that buy rv's for cash (RV Select and Camping World being 2 of them). They work off the same model. Of course, if a dealer overcharges you for a new one, they might be able to make the trade look better.

Your best bet might be to sell it through RV trader or Facebook marketplace. They're advertised higher there but you don't know what they actually sell for.

Good luck. I'm also looking to sell mine eventually and have been looking into it. Link for JD Power below:

Just to follow up on this one. We did sell our '21 22mle and here's my experience having done so.

Almost all the interest in ours came from my Facebook Marketplace ad. Craigslist brought us nothing for the $5 it now costs, not even the scammers. RV trader was a total waste of almost $150. I got a couple of contacts after RV trader messaged that they would send my ad to dealers. Suspect these were the contacts, but I had already sold it.

Selling it was an experience. I got the feeling it was like having an open house. People wanted to see it but had no real interest in buying anything. I've sold cars and boats before and never had this kind of buyer show up. Maybe it's just a buyers market right now...unsure. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the camper, mechanically or cosmetically. I even had to sell it twice. The first buyer backed out a week after giving me a deposit and the night before he was due to transfer the money to me and pick it up. I ended up selling it to a really nice couple who will enjoy it.

Price wise, I listed it lower than most. I priced it about 2k over JD Power high retail, and ended up selling for about 2.5k less than my price. For those who say that the JD power estimate is very low, I would say it's pretty much right on. I checked into trading it, selling it to a wholesaler, and selling it wholesale to a local camping world. All 3 options came in at about the same price of almost half what I ended up selling it for.

Maybe we could have held out for more, but I wanted it to sell quickly as we had a new trailer ordered. Overall the process took a couple of weeks and we're happy with the results.

The first thing, I would do is find out what it's worth. This way you know how far to bend over.
There are some RV appraisal services out there. Never used one so I don't know their names.
Cheapest bet is to call a bank and ask them how much they will lend you to buy that model with options. Used RV sales data is the best kept secret in the industry.
I've always had better luck on FB Marketplace despite all the offers to over pay me with a cashiers check. There is also a GD stuff for sale group on FB.
