Blinds "wrinkle" when raising

Probably not the best description but... We have one blind that no matter the amount of care you use when raising it, it does not fold along the creases, it has parts that pucker and dent and you have to "massage" it to get it to fold properly.

Anyone have a suggestion?

Thanks,

Dennis

I have the same problem Dennis, hopefully it will get better as they are used more. I would just wait and see as they may break in with time.

Grand Design told us to get the blinds where you want then and then spray a heavy coat of spray starch. It seems to work for us. D

We have the same problem with at least 2. We are going to the rally and that is on our list to have them look at.

They typically do that when left in the down position for long periods of time.

Try folding them up the right way, then letting them up for a day or 2. They usually "re-pleat" and will last longer.

Diggin' up an oldie but a goodie...

So did you spray them while in the up position or in the down position? (obviously with all the creases as they should be)

Are they still good or do you have to redo them now-and-then?

Any pointers?

Thanks

We have a Reflection and had the same problem with our blinds disforming and difficult to close, etc. We tried the spray starch and it worked great. My wife and I worked as a team, after spraying the shade in the down position, we slowly collapsed the binds and insured they folded correctly as we did so. Let them sit over night and the next day.. They worked great. They looked brand new and closed and open like new as well. Great Recommendaton! Thank you!
