Just curious if anyone has noticed something similar or is it just me. I have been looking into 5th Wheel Toy Haulers with the anticipation of buying one before the new camping season starts in the Midwest for 2025. I have been looking at RV Dealers in central Ohio as well as on RV Trader since mid-October when our campground closed down. This will be my second camper purchase as we were relatively new to camping. First one being just before covid screwed up just about everything, so I am still new to figuring out the games that the dealers and manufacturers play. My plan was to find some specific models and prices, then here in mid Jan 2025 when the Boat and RV show comes to Columbus, take that info and try to get some sort of a deal at the show. At least if I had some models and prices to compare, I'll have a decent idea if they actually make good deals at these big national RV shows. It seems that in the past few weeks there is significantly less RV's posted for sale in my area. Also a few of the models that I had saved, the prices are significantly increased from just a few weeks to a month or 2 ago. Has anyone else noticed this and is it a game the local dealers do with the shows coming to town to make it appear the deals are better than they really are? Also, speaking on the shows, does anyone have experience with purchasing at the shows and is it possible to negotiate a fair/good price? My apologies for the paragraph.
