Well this one finally got us. See pics. Walked out of the RV this morning and heard water trickling and then saw water running out of the bottom of the drop frame coroplast. Got the water shut off and pulled everything out of the storage compartment, took the wall out and saw right away what had happened. On the water pump filter, the top of the cap that screws on to cover the screen was broken off the cap and lying on the floor behind the storage compartment wall. Water was dripping out of the filter.
The old filter/screen had been in there 5 years. Installed new filter/screen and tested with city water and tank water, used water a few times and watched it all day for leaking before we put everything back in the storage compartment after drying it out- everything aok.
There shouldn't be water coming out of the pump and filter/screen when on city water, so I suspect water is maybe getting by one the nautilus panel valves.
There is a Camping World 3 miles down the road and they had one, $20. A lot of cleaning up water. I took the coroplast down from the end and whole right side and let the water run out. Stuck pieces of 4x4 and 2x4s between the coroplast and the insulating sheeting to separate them and ran fans blowing in there all day to dry them out. Glad it was a warm and sunny day.
Dang It!
