Bulletin board ?

Looking for ideas for how to "display" post cards of where we have camped. Was thinking about putting up dark cork board that blends in to the wood somewhere out of the way that "guests" can see but not really in our face all the time.

Anyone out there do something like this or other ideas? What have you done?

I made a board for displaying pics we take while on the road. I took foam core and spray glued/wrapped it with decorative burlap ,string 3 rows of twine across and use little scrap book clothes pins or clips to hang the pic. Hung it on the wall space between the entry door and bedroom door , kind of across from the bathroom in our 303
At first I hung it with 3m but it did not stay, so found some screws that have extended tips and glued pieces of cork to hide the screws. I can go take a few pics and put them here this afternoon .

Nice, good idea & good place for it except I would probably wipe it off the wall every time I walk by. Thanks for posting.

I had the exact same question! I'm not sure where I originally saw this, but I love this idea and I've started taking the pics for it....

We have similar idea, magnet boards with magnets from everywhere we've camped, around US map with all the states we've camped in. Had a local cabinet shop frame it with matching wood to our cabinets. Hung it in the same spot in our 337.

Thanks, I really like the map with pics. ..might of done that one but it's so hard to decide on one picture per state.

True.. It's also hard to fit one pic in the smaller eastern states. You could probably only get half a head and one arm in RI.. Hehe

Have you considered scanning the cards and then displaying using your tv screen or lap top..you could add a few of your photos..just a 'modern' option to consider

We were on the road three years and loss track of our travels..we plan to go out again in our new 366DEN...I plan to use GOOGLE MAPS...I hope to set up my own maps file,mark where we travel, and then post a picture or two for each spot...wish I had this option 10 years ago.

Thanks... Haven't really considered the TV but have thought about scanning cards and using one of those "electronic" picture frames that changes pictures. Still leaning toward hard copies, but thanks for the thoughts.
