Bunkhouse door damaging itself

Hello new owner of a 2023 Imagine XLS 25 BHE.
It has two interior doors, bathroom and bunkhouse. The bathroom door is mounted so that it opens/slides along the length of the trailer, front to back.
The bunkhouse door is mounted so that it opens/slides along the side to side plane. Both are stored with the included bungy cords during transport.

The bunkhouse door is damaging itself by banging around in the plastic door floor guide. The bathroom door does not. My theory is that during travel the bathroom door would only slightly rock forward and back in its track with starts/stops and NOT against the floor guide. However, the Bunkhouse door will rock back and forth (perpendicular to its normal track) against its guide, therefore damaging itself by bumping over and over against the floor guide. The soft compressed "wood" material does not hold up to this treatment. The pictures taken were after a 10 mile trip from delivery to storage lot. The door had just been replaced. You can even see the "wood" debris falling among the guide that is created from the banging. (Sorry the pics are upside down! These are floor guides not ceiling guides!)

So, the question or advice I'm after is whether anyone has dealt with this yet. I'm not sure how many models use these doors and how many are mounted perpendicular to the direction of travel, but these doors are so soft I would think that many are dealing with this. My instinct is to try to find something aluminum or thin sheet metal to "wrap" the corner of the door so that this banging around in the guide doesn't destroy it. But it needs to be thin or the profile will cause it to catch on the plastic floor guide each time as you open/close it.

I have a conversation open with the dealer service as well, but they are reluctant to do anything that Grand Design does not allow them to do. I may be on my own here.

This must be frustrating for you. We have a similar issue, our bedroom door goes side to side as does your bunkhouse door. And, just like you, our bathroom door goes front to back. Our bathroom door works well and has never been an issue while the bedroom door is always jumping off the guide. I'm afraid I don't have a fix, just to confirm that you are not alone.
