Arrived at the KOA at Ruffs Dale PA. Got everything setup. Went to hook up the cable TV and nothing. Tried a second RG6 cable with negative results. Put the antenna up and turned the signal booster back on and things work fine both in the living room and in the bedroom. Switched everything back to "cable" mode including turning off the antenna signal booster and nada. Did I miss something? Is there and easy way to check the connection in the hook-up area to the interior of the unit?

Thanks

David

David, has the TV worked on cable before? Did you run a new setup on the TV and put it on cable? That's the only thing I can think of for now.

Actually I've never been at a place where cable was available before this trip. I haven't changed anything else so either I'm missing something or the cable at the park is bad or wiring for the jack to the TV area is faulty.

If this is the first time you have used cable, you have to do a setup on the TV from the menu screen. If you already have done that, I don't know what the problem is. Each time we go to a new park with cable, the setup has to be run to find the cable channels.

Hook the coax from the cable feed directly to your tv bypassing the GD wiring. If it works there's a problem with GD wiring. If not, TV problem or cable feed trouble.

Andy and Julie , yep set up done.

3daawgg - thanks. Great idea. I knew there had to be a simple way to check.
