Its the legs to your tv if it wasn't mounted to a mechanical lift or wall bracket.

TV legs... Save them! They should have come in a little bag along with 4 screws. Your TV should be able to slide up and off of its mounting bracket. I recently took mine off and attached the legs in 2 minutes and used the TV outside with a large group of friends watching a baseball game. Take the legs back off and rehang the TV to travel.
