Charging RV Battery

Does anyone know if while driving on the road the vehicle charging system charges the RV Battery. Thanks

Yes, it does. Just make sure you have your baterry disconnect (if so equipped) set to on so the batteries are not disconnected from the loop. Of course, once you park it in storage, remember to turn this off so it won't drain as quickly.

In addition to the camper's battery disconnect, most trucks need to have a fuse installed for the 12V charging line to be hot on the truck's 7 way plug. If that's the case, it's usually in a plastic bag of the glove box with instructions for installation. The required fuse may be installed but blown which has happened to me.
