Cheaper diesel fuel

Hi all - I got this email from TSD on Wednesday: We are currently having issues with the EFS app not showing the TA and Petro discounts. The discounts are still there, but just not showing on the app correctly. We are working to resolve this issue.

As of Friday morning it's still not working for me. Anyone else having this problem?

Also. . . . I recall there was a way to download a big spreadsheet that shows ALL the participating stations. Now I can't find it. Anyone know what I'm referring to and know where it is? Thanks!

I filled up this morning at a TA. App worked for me. The downside is that it showed the TA discount is becoming less and less.

Still having trouble with the EFS app; was working great on a recent log trip; now the fuel locations and prices are not showing up when I do a search (even after testing in a location where I know there’s a TA); any clues to what I’m doing wrong?

You should have received an email about the new app that is coming out this month. Don't know if the current one is going to wk anymore. You have to sign up and get in line to download it.

Got my email notice yesterday to download the new app. Now just waiting for the follow up email invitation to turn it on. They are limiting it to 500 a day to ensure they have limited issues with the new app. To those posting they are having issues with the old app, call the vendor.

I am going to take a wild guess and say that they probably discontinued the Daily Spreadsheet because few people were using it and the app is up-to-date with real-time quotes, whereas the Spreadsheet was only updated daily.

You can still pre-plan your trips with the app by going to the "Price Locator" page and zooming in on the map of your planned trip. Here again, the prices are dynamic and even checking them while you are sitting at the pump does not guarantee that you will get a discount ( I don't recommend smaller truck stops ).

We just look ahead along our route when we drop below a 1/2 tank to find the best fuel price in front of us. We then plan our next stop based on the fuel price, time of day (lunch time or nap time) and how soon we need to stop for a stretch.

PS: we really like using the faster "Truck Pumps" and are thankful for the discount we receive. The discounts are GREAT !!!!!

A TA truck stop is about 7 miles from our stick home. It's in the right direction when we go to the Oregon Coast. When we go east to the mountains, I need to fill up before heading out with the Solitude.
I filled up the other day and saved around $0.70 a gallon. I really like that. KEN
 
Used the EFS card all last summer is great savings and nice not dealing with tight spaces at regular pumps. I’m in Ohio area and when travel into PA fuel snd gas goes 50 cents due to taxes. But card keeps prices the same. I have found the biggest savings is at TA travel centers. Wish there were more of them around me.

After reading this thread I decided to sign up for the TSD Logistics card. As I was going through the sign up process I almost didn't complete it because they wanted my social security number. I decided to go ahead and I am glad that I did. The discounts are nice, but the best part is not having to go in and pre-pay for gas.

On a side note, the first time I tried to use the card it wouldn't work. I couldn't get through the menus so I finally gave up and went inside to pay, wondering if the card was a bust. When I told the cashier she said "Oh yeah, the keypad on that pump is all wonky, it never works right." All the stops after that were no problem!
 
We got a card last year also and it is a great way to get diesel conveniently. Still like Costco but not all have diesel
