Check your metal valve stems!

All I am saying is, if your tire is losing air, the core is another place to check.

Oh, I absolutely agree, IF there's a problem. I was talking about checking the tightness of the valve core preemptively.

After our first trip out, I changed the OEM Westlake 205s to 225/75R15E Carlisles, and had Ford TPMS installed (part of the Ford Ultimate Trailer Camera pkg). I think both GM and Dodge have similar packages. The idea of an external sensor adding weight to the valve stem and an attraction to those with sticky fingers for valve stems just didn't sit well with me.
