New to the forum and first time 5th wheel owner. We just purchased the 369RL at an RV show over the weekend. Would like some opinions if this is enough truck to tow this trailer.....the door sticker on the truck shows a GVWR of 11,500lbs and a payload of 3,704. Chevy specs say I can pull a 17,500lb 5th wheel. The 369RL shows a hitch weight of 2,600 lbs and a dry weight of 12,650. By the time we add passengers, cargo, etc. I think we will be right at the maximum capacity but should be ok. Would like to know the experiences / opinions of other Grand Design owners if I have enough truck here.....want to make sure I didn't get myself in trouble.. Thoughts?

Hi Joel, I've been towing our 369RL for almost two years now, with about 11,000 miles with no problems at all...

Thanks for the reply....that makes me feel better :)

One more question, what kind of hitch are you using? I was debating between a B&W Slider or Sidewinder with a standard hitch....both have their pros/cons... Was curious which way you went. Thanks again!
