Clear plastic for screen door sliding cover

Hey all,

2021 2500RL that has the sliding screen door cover so you can get to the outer door lock/handle...

It's solid black and when sitting in the recliners, can't see out

The piece to the left was also black but since it's flat, I was able to replace it with some 1/16" clear with no issues... not sure how to replace the slider b/c it's curved to slide past the door handle/lock and it tucks into the door frame to make the seal.

Is there a replacement out there that is clear? or can I use the existing one to form a new clear one

Thoughts?

AFAIK what you are wanting does not exist.
I have had 4 coaches and they were all like that...Actually the first three had white panels. GD is black, and seems to be better quality.
This is the first time I have seen of someone wanting this....I have been on RV forums since the beginning, and this is a new one.
Perhaps the new fangled way of printing things can be used to create one?

Hey @huntindog, glad to know so far at least that I haven't just overlooked a replacement part

Even thought about getting some clear heat moldable plastic and use the existing piece as a mold...

Open to ideas here

I just looked on Amazon and saw this:

There are several other similar products. This one looks good to me and I think I'll try it when the TT comes out of storage in the spring.
