Color match truck & trailer

We have the luxury (been saving for a long long time) of buying our tow vehicle at the same time as the trailer. We are working towards a Solitude 305RE and will be buying a 2014 F350 Diesel. Anyone want to share how they have matched their truck color to their Solitude? Pictures please

Can't tell you how much the brochure colors on the truck don't match what the website shows and neither come close to matching the truck. Wish Ford dealer was close to the RV dealer and we could look at them side by side. White would seem to be the easiest match but now that the trailers have a beige color as the main color of the trailer, not so easy. Maybe we are overthiking this but want it to look great going down the road.

Anyway, hoping to see some pics and get some advice.

Merry Christmas

Ford has 2 brown shades...Kodiak Brown Metallic and Pale Adobe. If you opt for the two tone, you could have both. I think that it would complement the Brown and tan colors on the Solitude reasonably well. Here's an image that I found...

I have a 08 F250 that's Pueblo Gold and matches reasonably well with our Reflection.

Just left the Ford dealer where my wife and I looked at all of the colors / combinations on their lot and decided to go with Kodiak Brown with the Adobe two coat. We went inside while the salesman was building the truck on their online system. Guess what...The Kodiak brown is no longer available!

Strange since it's still listed in their 2014 and in fact is the color of the truck on their brochure. Our other option was the White Platinum Metallic Tri-coat with the Adobe trim. This is really my wife's choice as I really am not a fan of a white truck. Guess we will have to discuss AGAIN.

I know their Tuxedo Black with Adobe trim would look great but we have avoided a black truck while we have been making this decision.

Ordering the truck on PAUSE until we can figure this one out.

Thanks, Tigerbug

Sorry about the Kodiak Brown not being available now. I have a 2013 F250 in that color with the adobe trim and it really matches my Reflection.

Thanks all for your responses.

cgoodnight-I am jealous about your truck color. Once you actually pick a final color choice and then go in to place the order only to find out it is no longer available, well..........UGH!

My wife and I will have plenty to discuss tonight.

Our '08 two tone Pueblo Gold over black goes very nice with the Reflection colors also.

Robert...have you got your account setting set to accept private messages?

Have the dealer search for one in your choice of colors. They can get it.

el Rojo:

Dealer has already searched a 400 mile radius from Cincinnati where we live and nothing. They can find several F350's but not built with uor options. We built to haul the most GVWR, with dual alternators, camper package etc. I guess our build is too specialized. We'll keep looking or will simply have to choose another color, can always go with the white or black two tone option, just not really the colors that I want.

Anyway, MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone. No kids in our house anymore, just self, wife, and our two Australian shepherds, who were up early this morning. Skye and Finn must knonw Santa left them something in their stockings!

Have a great Christmas day with your families.

Tigerbug,

Just curious...why the two alternators? Are you dry camping and trying to charge the camper batteries with the truck idling?

I'm not trying to say you don't need them, just trying to learn something new.

You found the perfect match...we looked for a couple years older and couldn't find one in diesel...All of them were the V-10 gas version....guess everyone is keeping them...we settled for the metallic tan (attached) way better than white or blue!!
Good Luck on your search
