For the life of me, I can't figure out how to manually extend the jacks using the new Compass Connect. Also, can't seem to find any documentation anywhere about how to do this. Has anybody had any luck with this?

We have a new Solitude, that seems to have new gadgets that aren't well documented.

Using:
  • Lippert ground control for fifth wheels - Ground Control 3.0 Auto Leveling for Fifth-wheel Trailers
  • Compass Connect 4.0.1 on iPhone 12

Can't seem to find any documentation about the Ground Control having a manual mode, nor the Compass connect having a manual mode.

We would like to stay hitched on quick overnight stays, but level out. Our neighbors tonight, just next to us, with their Solitude are doing this... but they have a different Lippert Ground Control system.

A few options depending what exactly you want to do.

For just front legs, use the up and down arrows on keypad.

For front, side or rear legs, open the app or LCD that is mounted in the camper. Goto leveling section, scroll down until you see manual mode. Click enter. Select which legs you want to raise/lower and then select extend or retract, might be indicated by + or - depending on version. One note, you cant extend just middle legs. The rear selection will include the middle legs.

Thanks Ft4NOW.

The front legs, we can do now. It's the back four that we are struggling with.

Both the touchpad and app are unclear about the manual mode... more specifically... how to choose WHICH jack you want to control. We can't find any instructions for the version we have.

Hope I cleared it up for you a little, but to clarify you cant do each jack individual, it's either front, back, or sides (left or right). The middle jack will move with either the back or side button.

OK... that's new news, good to know. THANKS!

I guess at this point, we probably just need to be brave and play with the buttons when we get back to Sticks & Bricks.

When using your phone, it displays better when you turn it sideways.
