Compass Connect Panel isn't working properly (Imaging 16ML)

Hi guys,

I'm new to this forum because I have my first electrical issue on my 16ML.

I was prepping the RV for a trip this weekend, and when I tried to turn on the ceiling lights on the panel - nothing. The blue indicator light on the panel blinked 5 times and nothing. Same for exterior light button and the water pump button. When I tried the awning button all of the lights on the panel blinked 5 times and no action from the awning. I didn't have room to try the slideout, but I'm pretty sure that won't work either.

Question: Does anyone know what the 5 blinks indicates?

- I checked the fuse panel: the "Compass" Fuse appeared in good shape. When plugging the fuse back in we did see the ceiling lights flicker.

- All other electronics were getting steady power and operational (fridge, water heater, micro, individual lights with switches, and outlets, etc.)

Here's a link to a short video of the issue: https://photos.app.goo.gl/zvYQus6sFMnFoUPk8

I'd appreciate any help and insight if possible to correct this issue before I reach out to GD or LCI.

Sorry I cannot help on the panel blinking issue (quick search and did not find a solution either), but wondered if you were still able to use the phone app to control everything, or is that also inoperable?

Thanks for the help Riverbug

No. I couldn't control anything via the app either. I believe the bluetooth is not operating either.

I should have mentioned earlier... Lippert Customer Service is very responsive and helpful. They will even step you through trouble-shooting on the phone. You can give them a call at 432-547-7378.

Welcome to the forum! Here are a few forum tips:

1) If you use "Reply With Quote" (to the right of "Reply") as I have here, folks will know to whom you are responding and that person will get a notification.

2) You can also tag folks using the "@" symbol and their user name (as I have done yours) - they'll also get a notification that way.

3) You can create a signature block with your RV and tow vehicle information (see mine below). That way you won't have to repeat that information whenever you post or ask a question - and others won't have to ask. You can create a signature by going to:

Forum Actions (on menu bar) -> Edit Profile -> Edit Signature (under My Settings on the left)

Note: you'll need to have a paid subscription to add an image to your signature.

That's no fun. I saw that someone mentioned trying to reset it with the button "on the back" but it didn't work. But if you have the manual and it says anything about how to perform a reset on yours, might be worth a try. Otherwise, my next step (as I'm calling for support) would be to disconnect it from power completely and then reconnect to see if that does anything to help. If that doesn't work, kind of have to assume it's a faulty board or something at this point but maybe support has more ideas. Good luck.
