Compass Connect Problem

My Compass Connect app worked great for two months. Then suddenly it stopped working. I have tried everything to get reconnected with no luck. It was suggested that I delete the app completely from my phone, then download and start over. I googled and followed instructions for completely deleting the app from my phone but the app remains in my cloud. Does anybody know how to completely remove an app from an iphone?
 
are you deleting the app or removing from your home screen? If the latter, all data will not be deleted. I have never had a problem when removing the app from my phone and re downloading to clear all data. They are only stored in your Apps section, not really on iCloud. If you remove App, all data is gone and reinstalling (even though it shows a cloud, the data is not in the cloud, it just means you have authorized it before and do not have to re authorize to download it - or pay again if it is not a free app). Hope that helps. I deleted mine because it eats battery life like crazy. I will redownload it every time I am using the RV on a trip.
 
After uninstalling the app, don't forget to go into your Bluetooth settings and delete any saved Compass connections, same for WiFi depending on your system

Have to do this with my wife's hearing aids, they won't reconnect until I delete the previously connected BT device

I find Compass connections to be finnicky as well
