I know this is an old post, but I thought I would chime in so others looking to buy a 22RBE would have my 2 cents.
This is our first trailer 2020 22RBE in which we bought used. We left in May 2024 and we are 4 1/2 oil changes into our one-year trip so that would make it 36,000 km or 22,300 miles roughly). No issues towing with a 2022 F150 5.0 engine and that included the Rocky Mountains in British Columbia, Canada.
Before we settled on the deal, they needed to fix an intermittent electrical issue, which turned out to be the main electrical plug not connected fully at the back of the trailer.
During our trip, we have had many newbie issues, but found it wasn't entirely our fault. The bedroom door came flying off the track because we didn't remember to latch it. Next time it banged the back plate hard enough that it broke the back plate and came off the track again even though we did have the door latched. The drawer under the stove came out a number of times and we had to lighten the weight inside and add childproof straps. Now we still need to replace the slides for the drawers as we found ball bearings rolling around under the drawer and the drawer doesn't open/close smoothly anymore. We ended up attaching these child proof straps on the fridge and freezer door as well, since the weight of our fridge door has caused the fridge to open enough times that our front fridge door panel has come down and the cap on the bottom has broken.
The things I don't like about our trailer: Since we have a 2020 model it never came with a trailer hitch and you can't install one since the frame isn't accessible with the bathroom tanks there. I believe they started installing trailer hitch receivers starting in the summer of 2023 so I would suggest you buy one with a hitch receiver. The other thing I can't find is an electrical outlet that is a different circuit as the kitchen outlets. We prefer to use a small portable electrical heater but you can't have a small toaster oven plugged in without tripping the circuit. We got the dinette option, as we wanted to ensure we could walk to the bathroom with the slide in and not have a table to climb over. I didn't know you wouldn't have support for your back when sitting at the table grrr.
I love the counter and storage space and if we needed more we could order a counter extender to be mounted beside the sink. We love the slide being on the passenger side so we don't have plumbing running through a slide. Having the awning on the same side is great so we can open the awning part way and push up on the mounting arms to allow the rain to not get on the roof of our slide and run off on the end that we prefer. I sit in the shade and my wife sits under the sun. The fill indicator lights are almost useless since they never show that any of our tanks are empty. When we get back home after a year, I'll put ice cubes in the black water tank and soap in the fresh water tank, and take the trailer for a rock n rolling trip around town and see how that cleans things up for the sensors

That reminds me of one more thing. Our trailer came with tires only rated to 75 mph. Once we ran them to almost the wear bars, I mounted tires rated for 81 mph to give myself some wriggle room.
During our trip I had to fix the toilet. The toilet wouldn't stop flushing and when it did the water drained past the cup. I took it apart and replaced a couple components that thetford recommended. Two months later, it is doing it again so this time I will take it apart and only grease the really small o ring and make sure there is no hard water deposits on it. I just have to wait until the weather improves as they are calling for snow here in southern Texas brrr. Last week I had to deal with the water pump seizing up. If your trailer is under warranty make sure you get it dealt with properly, otherwise a quick google search shows you how to take the pump apart and push the inside pressure button loose. A 30-minute job for a handy person. I also had to replace the wire harness that goes from the truck to the trailer as it got pinched when backing up. I learned to run the new harness thru a padlock at the top of our hitch and no more issues. Our tv remote control is useless but that is for another post as I have ranted enough.
Suffice to say we are happy with our trailer except we wish we could have a trailer with a lounge chair and a dinette, be able to get to the bathroom with the slide in and be under 30 feet with at least the same quality as GD that is 4 seasons.
When I get home I'll cut to 2X4 and use them for braces to keep the rig from side to side shaking while sleeping.
