Is my 2024 Transcend 245rl xplor with solar panel installed from factory have a converter charger for lithium battery? The dealer who sold it to me installed a deep cycle battery. I would like to have the lithium. I’ve been using the camper for about 5 months now.

Two sources for charging your battery:
  1. shore power and your converter.
  2. solar power and your solar controller.
Your converter is set for your lead-acid battery. If it has a Lithium mode, that will charge Lithium batteries faster and more completely. If it has an AGM setting that will do almost as well. The same applies to your solar controller except it almost certainly has a Lithium setting, but clouds/shade/not enough panels will be limiting.
The answer will be in the manuals for your converter and solar controller, or if you find the brand/model of your converter and solar controller someone here will know.

@Gary1984 My 2022 280RS has (1) 160W solar panel and a 12V (only) Furrion refrigerator. I bought a 100 AH Battle Born battery that fit into the battery box. My converter is a Progressive Dynamics PD9260-C (lead-acid only - my paperwork did not indicate that model). This converter has a port on it for a "charge wizard pendant" which at the time cost me less than $20. I mounted it to a cabinet just inside my exterior door and cable reached to the converter. With the pendant I can push the button and force the converter to 13.6V. I push this button for about 4 seconds each night before bed. The converter never drops back to 13.2V and keeps my LiFePO4 fully charged. I can force the converter to 14.4V also, but my solar MPPT (30A Victron set to lithium) does that daily (on a sunny day). I've been happy with this solution, but I don't think a boondocker would be. The rate of charge (the time it takes to achieve a full charge) is slower than what a lithium converter would provide, but my battery is being fully charged.

Hopefully, you can set your converter and solar charger to lithium charge mode.

I am currently in the middle of all this. We had been on a 3-week trip a year ago and the battery was not charging. I purchased a lithium battery thinking it would solve the problem. This year, just got back from another 3-week trip and had a dead battery for the last leg. Contacted GD CS, had tech come out and the solar charger is faulty. They are sending a replacement. Also, during the evaluation, it was determined that the breaker/fuse box would not handle the lithium (even though the sticker on it said it would).....We will have to pull the breaker box out and send it in to have the firmware updated. They will repair and send it back to reinstall. This is all under warranty.
I have also ordered a dc-dc charger to go from the truck to the trailer.

Yeah, this sounds fishy to me. The difference between a LA battery and a LifePo4 battery is just a few tenths of a volt. I would ask for a better definition because that sounds like they are talking out their ash.
