So what is the verdict on the Cooper 17.5in "H" rated tires they are now mounting on the Momentum's and Solitudes? Are they the "Work Series Regional Haul Trailer (RHT) tires?

Well, we picked up our new Solitude from the dealer Tuesday and just finished the local state park shakedown. If it had been up to me, I would have been content with G rated on this particular Solitude..the lightest and shortest, but it was ordered with these by the dealer.

Having said that...they are one robust looking tire. Weighing in at 59 lbs per tire, load rated at 4805 lbs single axle, torqued to the wheel by the factory at 130 lbs then aired to 125 psi, it is a lot of tire. The tires are no longer the weak link on the trailer by a long shot. I had been using Sailun G rated tires rather than the overpriced Goodyear G rated series on my previous Heartland Bighorn...they were a G rated tires with almost H rated capacities. I had been very happy with Sailun, and since Sailun and Cooper have a joint venture trailer tire factory in Vietnam, I suspect that I'll be just as happy with these monsters.

Too much tire is never a bad thing.

As the others have said... It appears to be a very stout tire. I only have two outings on it so far.... BTW, They are REGROOVABLE!!!!
I never thought I'd see that on a towable RV tire.

Not sure what to make of the Coopers due to being made in China. Or as DECelt posted, Vietnam.

It's not so much where tires are made, but rather the specifications to which they are made. The Sailuns are manufactured in Asia and are excellent tires - used by many US trucking fleets.

My Goodyear's on our Landmark are regroove able.

There are a lot of Chinese tires that are junk, but Sailun is a real ISO-certified company and their factory with Cooper in Vietnam is state of the art. They have a couple of videos on youtube. I still have to check the country of origin on my Coopers. I'm assuming at this point.

My coopers are made in China,Four trips on them so far no problems. Good looking tire . Hopefully with Coopers name on them they will continue to perform

We purchased our 2021 399TH back in April of 2021 with the Cooper H rated tires. We have traveled along the WA coast and from Tacoma area to Yellowstone and back. As far as trailer tires go the tire/wheel combo is pretty sexy. Only issue is that one of our tires went flat for no known reason and started peeling off the wheel. This was three days ago. I submitted the claim to Lionshead Tire and Wheel but no response yet.

I will say that you may need to be into cross fit or you will need to engineer some mechanical advantage when changing this tire -- its a beast!

Be aware that The Lionshead warranty road-side assistance will only cover a $100.00 service call and they said it that the providers would charge $250-$350 for a tire change leaving me with the difference. Our insurance company offered a better option for road side assistance but since we were parked at home I went at it with a bottle jack and foul language. Just waiting on the claim from Lionshead.

I have these on my 2021 Solitude 380FL. We have made a trip from Michigan to Utah and back and also Michigan to Florida to Texas and back. So far a great tire.

We have them on our 2930rl as well working great so far .
Nothing long about 2500 miles them. I was surprised to see them on it it's a 2021 model

We also have them on our Solitude 2930RL. With it being over 100 degrees lately here in Texas, I’m wondering what pressure to inflate them to.

Anyone have advice for tire pressure for these H rated Coopers when it’s 102 out?

Unless you have wheel-by-wheel weights for your trailer to go along with a weight/inflation table from the tire manufacturer, inflate the tires (cold) to the pressure on the sticker on the trailer. If you lower pressures, tires will heat up even more due to underinflation.

Do not change the pressure on account of heat. Air is your tires coolant. Where I am in AZ, 115 is not uncommon. I never adjust my tire pressures because of heat. My placard states 125, and that is what I run.

We picked up our 2021 375RES in May 2021 and have towed ~15k miles since then. Zero issues from the Coopers, but I do limit my speed to 65 given the impact on fuel mileage above that and our suboptimal interstates. I torque my lug nuts at the start of every travel day to 125 ft/lbs and will do it again at a fuel stop on long travel days where I’m likely to have 3 fuels stops and be on the interstate for 12-15 hrs. So far, good tire/wheel combo.

Thanks! We now have a few thousand miles on them and no issues as well. Note that GD's spec's for the 17.5in wheels (with long nut) is a torque of 190-210#.
