Many RVers enjoy collecting campground stickers as mementos of their travels, but there’s debate about the best way to display and preserve them. Some members prefer sticking them on the camper’s exterior, but concerns are raised about sun damage, difficulty in removal, and potential impact on resale value. Others avoid stickers altogether, citing personal preference or dislike for advertising.

Popular alternatives include placing stickers on removable surfaces like a piece of luan, a... More...

I was walking in my neighborhood and saw a person who lives here getting her camper ready to go somewhere. I happened to walk toward the rear of the camper and saw that they had a bunch of stickers from campgrounds pasted onto the rear wall. Seemed like a neat thing to me. So I have been collecting stickers though I just started camping this year and do not have very many.

Been wondering what to do with them? Pasting on the outside wall seems problematic. The rear of the camper always seems to be facing away from everything and is not readily seen, even by me. Washing and scrubbing might hurt them. The sun's UV probably would not be good on them. If I sell the camper, I might want to transfer the stickers to the next camper.

What else can I do with them? The collection will, hopefully, keep growing. It is fun to go to different parks and see what they are like.

I stick them to the frame of the camper or a window and they go with the camper to the next person when sold.
I start new with the new camper and see how many I get before selling.
They are easy to remove for the next person if they don't want them.

Easy to remove? LOL. I wouldn’t buy an rv or vehicle with stickers on it.
I remember back in the day... my mom and dad took our family to Worlds Of Fun in KCMO when it first opened. After hanging out in the new park all day, came back to thier new mustang and it had a WOF Sticker attached to their brand new rear bumper along with all the other cars in the lot. Boy, were they PO'd! Back then they just put them on without asking at amusement parks, and acted like it was a gift to have their name advertised on your car!

Funny how times changed...

Yeah never had anyone ever in all the years and RVs I've owned and sold say OMG there is a sticker on it i just can't buy it... but hey may be they are just a different breed out my way.

I would have been PO’d too. First thing I do after buying a new vehicle is remove all dealer stickers, plate brackets, etc.

We collect stickers. What we do is put them on our 5 gallon trash bucket. Also the cool ones go on the toolbox at home 😬

Magnets here. Our 260RD came with a wine rack (we don't drink). We covered the hole with a metal board and put the magnets there. Some of the places we camp only have stickers, and we mount them on flexible magnet material.

The back of our rig has multiple stickers/decals. We bought our rig with the intent of keeping at least 10 years. We figured no one would want to buy it when it's that old anyway, we may as well put stickers on it.
