While installing Mac's Versa Track in the toy haulers garage I found one of my D-Ring anchors is not secured to the frame very well at all.
There are three self tappers (yes self tappers I could not believe it either) 1/4-20 bolts that GD uses to secure the D rings to the I beam trailer frame. On one of my D rings only one bolt goes threw the frame and the other two partly catch the edge of the frame. Certainly not safe to tie down a custom motorcycle.
So before you load your motorcycles to head to Sturgis check your D rings.
Mine would have been a huge problem.
Do the inspections at manufacture prior to delivery for these trailers just contain a piece of that they check a box to confirm that it is a trailer???
