I am looking for others that are currently dealing with service issues or has had issues getting service issues resolved working with the Paul Evertt's RV in Mount Vernon or Fife, WA. I would like to do some coordinating/discussion/problem solving. Please post or send me a PM. Thanks.

I have had my fair share of problems there too! Thank goodness for Micah Staley, Bill Fenech, Marc Houser, and Dean Brovont! Thanks to the GD team we can enjoy our trailer without a great deal of dealer support! It's unfortunately the only GD dealer in Wa State.

Well, WESTERN Washington. We bought ours at Blue Dog RV in Kennewick, and have it serviced at Blue Dog RV in Post Falls, ID.

Why would you assume that it wouldn't remain civil?

RG, the OP invited anyone and everyone that are having issues with this dealer to post comments, not what experience have you had with this dealer, good or bad. The OP is not looking for what is good about this dealer. Trust me, Threads like this can go "south" real quick. I do not care if problems or bad experiences with a dealer is discussed on this forum as long as it remains, as I said, civil.

Steve -could you do a little explanation of your comment? Seems like you are seeking to sensor people's discussion...

See Post #8. I will never sensor people's discussion on this forum as long as the discussion remains within the rules set up by the owner.

Our past experience with Paul Everts (I'm talking repair/service at the Fife, Wa store only) has been....I'll be civil....not good. There is another service facility in Kent, Wa that we use that does service and repair work (they do not sell RV's, only service) as well as warranty work for Grand Design products. We have had great results from them. If interested, send me a PM.

Hey Dave, I live in Tri Cities and am pretty certain I'm gonna get a Solitude. I've been to Blue Dog to look at them. But, I've been wondering how they are on servicing the rigs and how you are treated after the sale. What's your experience been like?? Thanks in advance!!

Wellllllll, the folks in Kennewick were very nice (they didn't have the model we wanted on the lot, but hijacked a rig destined for another dealer), but they didn't fix a single thing that we had pointed out in our walk-through. We actually had the rig delivered to our lot in NE Washington, so we didn't notice until it was delivered. BUT, their dealership in Post Falls, ID was VERY, SUPER helpful, and sent a tech out to fix the issues. There was an issue with one of the slides that he couldn't fix on site, so they picked it up, fixed it, and delivered it again, all at no charge. So I am VERY happy with that branch of the business.

I have nothing good to say about Paul Evert's RV in Fife, every time I take it there only half of my issues get fixed, I call set up an appointment let them know what issues I'm having then when I take it in they park it over in the corner for a month before they proceed with work, all warranty issues go through their Coburg Oregon location and who ever is in charge of it needs to be fired. It took 11 months before to get them to fix my brakes, in twice for the fan in the kitchen, my fireplace quit working so I took that in and had them replace it new one didn't work either they tried to blame it on me plugging it into the wall for it not working would not replace with a new one they replaced the circuit board or something like that took a 6 weeks microwave quit working and according to J.D. at Grand Design they never ordered me a new one but keep saying it's on the way, J. D. told me I could just go purchased a new one myself and Grand Design would reimburse me up to like $340 , I haven't found one I like so it's still not replaced. I don't ever plan on setting a foot on their property again and have given thought to going to the RV show with a sign that warns people to stay away from them. I wish I would have went against the buy it local statement and my own beliefs and purchased it elsewhere

We were promised a dinette to replace the table and chairs. They ordered it before we took delivery and told us it would take a few weeks to arrive. After 2 months of calling Mt Vernon and Fife I was fed up. They kept telling me these things take time. After going around them to Grand Design, we find out it was never ordered and the service manager and sales manager kept pointing fingers but never called the factory to verify the delay of a non existent order! I waited several weeks for a couple replacement items that were never ordered either. A couple pics and an email to Dean, and I had the items in a few days. I will definitely buy another Grand Design some day, but unless I see improvement I will go out of the state or to Canada. I already make the repairs myself as it is!

I bought my 2015 323BHS from Paul Evert RV in Fresno, CA. So far,
have had it serviced once for both warranty and non-warranty work. They completed the work in a timely manner , and were professional. Plan to return for future needs.

BTW, the rig tows very well with the Chevy 2500 HD Duramax Diesel.

You know, it's sad that when a dealer continually performs poorly on service/warranty work, folks just quit taking the work there, yet the dealer is allowed to continue selling the product to unsuspecting folks that don't realize they will get crappy service when work needs to be done on their rig by the selling dealer. Then, the dealers that do a good job get flooded with work and people complain about the long wait times. Sometimes it makes me wonder since warranty work is not a money maker for the dealer but sales is. Makes me scratch my head and go hmmmmm....

Not to hijack the thread but where I live it's 50 miles to BYoung RV in Portland Or and south 70 miles to Paul Everett in Coburg Or. Anyone deal with Byoung? Paul Everett isn't sounding all that promising. IIRC they had some legal issues in CA. They're realively new to Coburg Or.

We have a couple of friends that purchased their Solitudes from B Young in Portland. They have good things to say about them. Unfortunately, it's a 160 mile drive for them. It's sounding like it might be worth it but we found a place in Kent that does great work and got GD to authorize them as a warranty repair shop.

From my understanding, all warranty work in this region for Paul Evert's RV get's routed through the Coburg, OR location and has caused problems for many people, including me (being from Mount Vernon).
