We went to look at a 2016 Reflection 337RLS today. It has all the latest upgrades including auto levelling, 4 door fridge & two air conditioners. We were extremely impressed to say the least. The dealer gave us such a good deal we couldn't pass it up. We won't take delivery until April.
It's going to be a long winter.
This is a great forum. Lots of good information from the members!! The positive information made the decision much easier. I have lots of questions now.

Hey grampscamper . . . welcome to the group! The Reflection 337 is probably the most popular model owned by members of this forum. Our 303 is a close cousin. We also have a strong Canadian contingent in this group. I can probably guess which dealer (and probably which sales rep) got you the deal you couldn't pass up ! If you have "lots of questions" . . . just ask. Don't forget to sign up as a "Site Sponsor" to maintain access to pictures, attachments, etc.

Yes, you are correct about the dealer. Thank you for your help with this. The salesman was away but will get credit for the sale. We finalized the deal with the owner Thomas. The 337RLS is loaded with options. Although our dollar is quite weak I was very happy with the price we were given. Our trade value was likely higher also because of the weak currency. I think the Reflection line offers great value. We like the 303 also but wanted the larger shower and bed slide. Both models are well designed and well built.
I did plan to sign up now as a site sponsor.
Thank you

Congrats on the new camper. We love our 337 were only able to use it twice before putting it away for the winter. Can't wait to use it more in the spring.

Thank you. We absolutely love the trailer. We like the theatre seating directly across from the TV, fireplace, 4 door fridge, auto leveling, abundant storage, wet bolts, rear hitch, high gloss fiberglass and great factory support. The list goes on and on. We would prefer the double sink and the old kitchen table with storage and a leaf. These are personal preferences but certainly didn't effect our decision. My personal opinion is I don't think you could find better value.
It's sure going to be a long winter!!!!!!

We bought our 337 in August of 2014 and have used it as much as possible for not being full time RV living. We absolutely love it. It doesn't have the upgrades of the 2016, but we are supremely happy with every part of it. No warranty issues. We just put her to bed for the winter again in October and can't wait for spring. Pretty sure you'll love your 337.

Congratulations on your 337! We just picked our 337 up this past Monday. Like you, we would prefer the double sink and table with storage but we love the other new features like auto leveling and motion lights. It is an amazing RV. I think my first mod will be adding the rear observation camera.

We just put a deposit down on one today. It was in stock and manufactured in November. After months of research and talking to sales people who sold all different brands we decided on this 337. But more than what the sales people said I trusted my own instincts when I walked through it. It just felt solid and well built. This will be our fourth new trailer. I hope it holds up. Thanks to everyone on this site for the valuable info. I was lurking behind the scenes reading about these and waited to join until today when I actually put a deposit down. Unlike the folks in Canada and the northeast, I'm in Arizona and will begin using mine right away...then when June hits I'll wish I was in Canada or at least up north.

Ours was in stock and recently built also. If we lived in Arizona we would have taken delivery next week. Our trade has been winterized and put into storage. We don't use our trailer in the winter so we decided to take delivery in the spring. The dealer was very accommodating. If we left a deposit they would hold the trailer for us. Like you I have been watching Grand Design very closely for some time. Research, especially from this forum has made the decision much easier. I've spoken to many happy Grand Design owners in my travels. I would agree it does look well built and solid. We think the floor plan is perfect for us. This will be our 3rd trailer. This one we're the most excited about.
Safe travels!!

Welcome to all 3 of you new owners!! We have had ours for two years with no issues at all. We are wintering in Florida for 4 months and it is performing flawlessly. We felt the same way all of you did when you first walk into a Grand Design product. Just something about it that feels different.

I would agree. For us it was the attention to detail. It is very well designed and very good use of space. When you enter it you certainly get a feeling that you're home.

Good to hear. We are hopeful. This is our first "empty nest" rig after buying three new bunkhouse trailers over the years. We've owned a Fleetwood, a Jayco, a Gulf Stream and now this. I believe this is easily the best built of the three. The others were a constant headache from leaking floors (Fleetwood) where I had to haul it back to the factory in Riverside, CA so they could replace the floor to the Jayco with lots of more minor problems to the Gulf Stream which it often seemed was just thrown together randomly. The Gulf Stream was a big quad bunk, two bathroom 5th wheel. Youngest is off to college in August so it was time to get out of the bunkhouse business. The grand babies can sleep in a crib or on the fold out bed. My wife and I are really excited to do some traveling. Thanks again for a great forum and all the really helpful information. I'll post my impressions of the GD after we pick it up later this week.

Congrats and welcome to all three new owners! We have had our 337 for almost 20 months and LOVE it! 20 trips so far and all is good. I'm sure you will all love yours.

You will love the auto leveling. When we first used ours, we were set up in minutes. I said to my husband that's it all done he said yup. I was like Wow that was so quick. We usually are spending time making sure it's level. Can't wait until spring to use it again

Yes, we're very excited about the auto leveling. Actually there is a long list of things were excited about. What's not to like about this 5th wheel!!!!!!!!!!!:D
Thanks.

Well, I went to pick up our new 337RLS and after I sat down in the finance manager's office they tried to raise the price $1,300. They had agreed to an "out-the-door" price and reneged on it. I politely declined to pay more and left the dealership. A few days later I called another dealership in Las Cruces, NM about a 303RLS they had and in one day agreed to a price and I'll pick it up early next week. I'm not going to name the dealership that tried to jack the price up on me other than to say it's located in Arizona, but I wasn't real happy about it. As with most things, I believe this will turn out for the best. The 303 is a little lighter and a little shorter and has absolutely everything we need. We are not full-timers or even serious part-timers really, so this is just something to get away for a week or two and we're very happy with our decision. I may pull it cross-country at times, but I think we'll be very comfortable in it. It's loaded up with every option, including 2 AC units, the auto levelers etc. and we're looking forward to camping again.

Sorry to hear the dealer tried to play games. Certainly not a very professional way to conduct business. I've had it happen to me more than once on vehicles I've purchased. I did the same as you and walked out the door, never to return. The 303 is a very nice unit. We gave it some serious consideration.
Good luck! Let us know how it works out.

I put down a deposit on the 303 and I'm headed to Las Cruces on Tuesday morning to pick it up. Fortunately my wife and I both believe that when something blows up like our deal on the 337 did it just means we weren't supposed to get it and I think we'll be very happy with the 303. We're also saving about $10K by going with the 303. I did the entire deal on the phone and with text messages in about 2 hours. I offered, they countered, I countered, they countered, I agreed and we did the deal. Sure helps to know what you want before you start negotiating. 90% of the headache is figuring out which trailer you want.

We have had our 303 for 18 months and love it. Just the right size for us 2. I will say with all the upgrades especially the auto leveling we might have to order another 303 in a couple of years! GD Customer Service has treated us awesome! Good luck! with your 303 and enjoy it.
