Lately, I've noticed the concrete where our trailer is parked is damp below the freshwater tank dump valve. I've looked at it and it's damp at the valve. No drips, just a damp circle on the concrete.
Is there anything I can safely use to lubricate the gasket...plumber's grease (made from real plumbers), silicon grease? Or should I just look at changing the gasket? There is about 25 gallons of fresh water in the tank. (2020 Imagine 2600R). If I remember correctly, the volume is 40+ gallons. This summer, we spent over a month on the road in temps of 90 and over. Since we do a lot of boondocking, I'd like to not lose water if I can prevent it.
Suggestions welcome.
